Lollapalooza, Turbonegro and QOTSA! QOTSA and Zwan, European Tour Feb. 5, 2003

[from theprp.com] Rumors have begun to spread regarding this years edition Lollapalooza of the long absent Lollapalooza Tour, bands reportedly being courted for the trek include Jane's Addiction, Queens Of The Stone Age, Audioslave, Incubus, Jurassic 5, and Interpol among others, more information is expected shortly.

The QOTSA/Zwan tour rumor is true. Here are the dates:

Mar 29 Towson State University Baltimore, MD on sale Feb. 8
Mar 31 Illnois State Normal, IL
Apr 2 Northwestern University Chicago, IL
Apr 4 University of Buffalo Buffalo, NY

QOTSA will be playing the Rock Am Ring and Rock Im Park festivals in Germany in June. Looks like there's a European tour on the way.

Turbonegro has confirmed that they'll be joining QOTSA for part of the upcoming US tour (New Orleans - the end of the tour)! RPG will also play these dates. Check the Upcoming Shows page for the dates and ticket info.

NOTE: Dave Grohl will NOT be drumming for QOTSA on this (or any other) tour! His last show with the band was on July 28 at the Fuji Rock Festival in Japan, so don't expect to see him behind the drum kit on the next tour. Joey Castillo of Danzig is the new drummer.
