NOTICE TO ALL POETS: Thank You for the submissions as they were all of the highest calibre (except for the shitty ones). Although yours may not have been selected for these sessions, we will probably use your submission on another Volume. Remember-this is not a contest...there are no 'winners,' just 'losers.' If your entry was selected, look for a free copy in the mail. Live Long and Perspire, The Management You can order the cd from Rekords Rekords, since Man's Ruin Records is now defunct
"In 1999 a crack-pot team of rockers led by Josh Homme embarked on a poetry experiment in the blistering heat of the desert sun. The experiment resulted in a psycho fantasy rock orchestra and a substantial collection of "Poetic Entries" submitted by the team. They cleverly named this ensemble "Desert Sessions 5 and 6". The contributors include:
Josh
Brant Bjork
Little Bobby Sherwood
Fred Drake
Dave Catching
Blag Jesus
Keri Mathers
Gene Troutman
Adam Maples
Teddy Quin
